On June 3rd 2007, Cannon Middle East announced the appointment of Bertil Widmark as the Managing Director to head Cannon Middle East. Cannon Middle East specializes in imaging and information technology solutions for individuals and businesses.

Canon

Widmark who was previously the Marketing Director of Canon in Sweden, has served the company since 1987 in various capacities. During his 20 year tenure with Canon he has acquired extensive business knowledge, from sales to product development and product marketing.
The new MD succeeds Gordon Jones, who has headed Canon Middle East for the past 8.5 years. Jones consolidated the distribution channel in the Middle East and further took over, structured and optimized the network in Africa, comprising of 21 African French speaking countries.
