Al Arz Printing Press in Beirut, Lebanon, has installed a four-colour perfecting, Roland R704 P HiPrint, commissioned from Dynagraph. Semaan and Walid Khoury, managers at the press, decided on the investment on the basis of their previous experience with equipment from Manroland and Dynagraph and their after-sales services.
“The R700 HiPrint has many characteristics that provide new business avenues to a press, such as the flexible configuration possibilities, perfect ink distribution, smooth and gentle delivery, and high substrate versatility,” said Khoury.
Manroland’s fully-automated plate changing system allows faster plate changing faster at the press of a button. While the plates are being changed automatically on the HiPrint, the printer can attend to loading new piles or preparing the press for the next job. The 3B plus format (780 x 1,050 millimeters) sheet size available for the ROLAND 700 HiPrint accommodates more multiple-up images on a sheet. The Roland InlineSorter diverts start-up waste sheets; with the non-stop feeder and delivery, piles are changed at production speed.
