Kodak and Gulf Commercial Group Extend Partnership
[10-Dec-2008] Gulf Commercial Group, part of Ghobash Trading and Investment Group, and Kodak GCG recently celebrated one year of successful partnership in the Kodak Electrophotography Printing Systems (EPS) business. An event was held at the Emirates Towers Hotel in Dubai on 10 November 2008 to commemorate the alliance and the launch of a new organization of Gulf Commercial Group as a full solutions provider in the UAE and a strong partner of Kodak GCG. The partnership between the two groups has been extended for Kodak Prepress Equipments and Enterprise Solutions (PEES) products.

Kwality Printing Adds Heidelberg PM52 and Agfa Azura CTP to Its Equipment Range
[10-Dec-2008] Dubai-based Kwality Printing & Stationery is expanding its services with the recent acquisition of a Heidelberg Print Master PM52 4-color and Agfa Azura CTP Machine. The Azura chemistry-free plates are grained and anodised aluminum thermal plates that use the patented ThermoFuse technology to physically bond images to the plate without any chemical processing. A clean-out step follows the non-ablative imaging process to enhance contrast.

Adventure Digital Wins Signage Contract for Palm Jumeirah Monorail
[10-Dec-2008] Marubeni Corporation, the contractor for Palm Jumeirah Monorail, has commissioned Adventure Digital, a Dubai-based company specializing in digital signage solutions and digital printing, to install digital signage at the Palm Jumeirah Monorail stations. Adventure Digital LLC is a division of Adventure Advertising LLC, an advertising and media company in the UAE. The digital signages will be installed at four Monorail Stations on Palm Jumeirah. A total of twenty four 52-inch LCD screens will be installed at the stations. All LCD screens will use digital engines that will be networked for centralized management.
