KBA in association with regional distributor Giffin Graphics organized a conference for its customers on 29 March 2010 at the Sheraton Dubai Creek Hotel to highlight its latest products and features ahead of the upcoming
Ipex exhibition in Birmingham, England.
Four
KBA presses will be on display at
Ipex: the
KBA Rapida 75 5-colour with coating; Rapida 105 5-colour with coating; Rapida 106 6-colour with coating; and Genius 52 UV. Web presses and large-format sheetfed offset presses will not be featured.
Ramzi Kteily, Managing Partner at Giffin Graphics, in his opening speech, called the present market conditions a starting point for changing trends. “We reassure our support to our partners and customers who have played a significant role in our growth over the years,” he said.
Dietmar Heyduck, Vice President Sales, Asia Pacific/Middle East,
KBA, appreciated Giffin’s role in enhancing the brand and market share in the region and said there are strong indications of sales figures rising over the year in the Middle East. Heyduck’s presentation touched on the company’s history, current global standing, and its future outlook, especially in Asia, and the company’s major foothold in the global security printing market.
Dr. Taufik Fauzi, Senior Sales Manager-Middle East,
KBA, presented a comprehensive analysis of the unique features of
KBA presses; the seminar addressed ongoing concerns of printers such as time management and cost effectiveness with regard to investment in new machinery, skilled manpower, electricity consumption, etc. The program concluded with a Q&A session.
Fauzi also announced special offers for Middle East customers visiting
Ipex 2010.
For the largest deal that will be signed during
Ipex,
KBA will offer an extra year of warranty and a spare parts package worth €30,000 for free. “We expect from the show that we can convince our customers that it is the right moment now to invest in a
KBA printing press,” said Fauzi. “After
Ipex,
KBA intends to organize once every year free seminars with productions managers in the GCC and MENA regions. The conferences will cover topics such as “how to achieve higher efficiency, quality and productivity with fewer costs.”
