During 2009 Iranian package printers invested in a wide range of equipment including digital engravers, photopolymer sleeves and plate imaging systems, thin film and foil production, barrier film production, narrow web presses with different configurations, hybrid systems, holograms and digital large format printers. We had the opportunity to talk with some of the people behind the biggest investments in three major sectors of the Iranian packaging and printing industries during 2009, namely flexible packaging, offset and specialty printing.  Here is a round up of several noteworthy investments.
